XKAH Lite Leak: A New Plug-In E-HMD Without Battery?
The leaked XKAH Lite could be a compact plug-in E-HMD without a battery, featuring a rotary dial up to 310°C and an auto mode for simple, hassle-free sessions.

Late last night, a pretty interesting leak started making rounds in the hookah scene, especially on Reddit: the XKAH Lite might be coming soon. Nothing is officially confirmed yet, but the leaked images already give a solid idea of where this device could be heading.
The XKAH Lite looks like a smaller, more stripped-down version of the existing XKAH lineup. No display, no battery concerns - just a simpler approach for people who want to enjoy their session without dealing with charging, settings or swapping batteries.
What does the leak show?
From the images, the device appears compact with a familiar XKAH design language. It seems noticeably smaller than the main model and completely drops the digital display. Instead, there’s a large rotary dial on the front with a button in the center.
One detail that stands out immediately is the auto mode marked on the dial. Alongside that, there are temperature markings going up to around 310°C, suggesting that despite its simpler design, the XKAH Lite still offers real temperature control.
The biggest difference: plug-in power instead of a battery
The most interesting part of the leak is clearly the cable. The XKAH Lite is shown connected directly to a power source, which would mean no battery, no charging and no swapping cells. You just plug it in and start your session.
In real-world use, that could be a huge advantage. Anyone who has ever had their session interrupted by a dead battery knows how annoying that can be. With the XKAH Lite, that problem might simply disappear as long as you have access to a power outlet.
Of course, there’s a trade-off. Having a cable attached to your setup isn’t for everyone. If your hookah sits in the middle of the table or you like to move around freely, the cable could get in the way. This makes the XKAH Lite feel less like a portable device and more like something designed for home setups, lounges or cafés.

New releases often sell out fast - first batches can be gone in no time. If you want to be on the safe side, it’s worth reserving your spot now.
No display - but that might be the point
The lack of a digital display doesn’t necessarily mean a downgrade. For a lot of users, this could actually be part of the appeal.
A rotary dial is direct, intuitive and fast. You instantly see your setting without navigating menus. If the auto mode works well, the XKAH Lite could end up being easier to use than more complex E-HMDs.
LED status light and color options
The leaked images also show a colored LED light on the front. This will likely indicate heating status, readiness or the active mode, which becomes especially important without a display.
In terms of design, XKAH seems to be adding some lifestyle elements as well. So far, black, blue and red versions have been spotted.
Price: will the XKAH Lite be more affordable?
There are early rumors suggesting a price of around €200. This isn’t confirmed yet, but if it turns out to be true, it would position the XKAH Lite as a more accessible entry point into electronic heat management.
How reliable is this information?
It’s important to keep in mind that this is still a leak. The images look convincing, but until there’s an official announcement, details like final specs, price, release date (possibly next week at the Hookah Fair 2026 in Frankfurt) and availability remain speculative.
There are also open questions regarding EU compliance, included accessories, warranty, real temperature accuracy and overall durability.
Who is the XKAH Lite for?
At first glance, the XKAH Lite seems aimed at users who don’t want to deal with battery management. Plug it in, prepare your bowl, set your temperature and you’re ready to go.
For users who prefer fully wireless setups or smoke on the go, this concept might be less appealing. But for home sessions, hookah lounges or fixed setups, the constant power supply could actually be a major advantage.
First impression of the XKAH Lite
If the leak turns out to be accurate, the XKAH Lite won’t replace the higher-end XKAH models. Instead, it looks like a new entry-level category: smaller, simpler, more affordable and focused on ease of use.
No battery, no display, no complicated menus - just plug it in and start your session.
Final thoughts: a different direction for E-HMDs?
The leaked XKAH Lite suggests a clear shift towards simplicity. Plug-in power, rotary control up to around 310°C, a possible auto mode and a clean design all point to a device that prioritizes ease of use over advanced features.
Update coming soon: As soon as the XKAH Lite is officially announced, we’ll update this article with confirmed specs, comparisons and whether it’s actually worth buying.
