Savu comes from the DuCe manufactory

DuCe was founded in Hofheim am Taunus in early 2017. The Savu name was secured later that year, followed by its first major appearance at Shisha Messe Frankfurt in 2018. Savu has since become the German producer's Virginia range.

Grade 1 Virginia grown in Germany

DuCe uses Grade 1 Virginia grown in Germany exclusively for the company. A fine cut, matching molasses and quality checks in the in-house laboratory form part of the production concept. The result is a mild base that lets flavor appear quickly and clearly.

Fruit, candy and familiar taste memories

Savu does not think only in single fruits. Fruit gummies, citrus candy, chewing gum, lemonade and ice candy shape many releases, alongside direct fruit and traditional double apple. The brand suits smokers looking for approachable Virginia with obvious flavor.

Clearly separated from its Burley sister Dunya

Within the DuCe family, Savu covers the light and aroma-led side. Dunya uses pure Burley for smokers who want more leaf character and strength. The two brands therefore serve clearly different smoking styles.

Leafy, Speedy and Savu's naming style

The chewing-gum and mint flavor still appears as Speedy or Speedy Mind in older shops and reviews, while current packs are generally listed as Leafy. Names such as Papa Luma, Kimi and Häuptling also focus on recognition rather than plain fruit labels.

How to pack Savu

Mix the fine tobacco thoroughly and use a fluffy to normal pack. Both phunnel and multi-hole bowls work when the air channels remain open. Start with medium heat and increase gradually so fruit, candy and freshness stay clearly separated.
