Moze grew with Germany's modern hookah scene

Moze was founded in 2018 and received the Start-up of the Year award at Shishamesse in 2019. The brand did not enter the market with decades of heritage. It focused on the details that modern setups make visible and tangible. Purge patterns, sleeves, compact proportions and replaceable parts were designed into the hookahs rather than added later as decoration. That is why the Breeze Two, Varity, Sphere 2 and Tradi still feel recognisably Moze despite their very different silhouettes.

The Breeze Two became the key model

The Breeze Two arrived in 2021 as the successor to the original Breeze. At roughly 40 cm without a bowl, it stayed compact enough for a table while offering far more personality than a basic mini hookah. Its patented variable purge system, replaceable resin sleeves and mix of stainless steel, POM and epoxy resin made it the brand's most recognisable model. Moze reports more than 90,000 units sold, placing the Breeze Two among the best-known and most successful modern hookahs of its generation.

Customisation goes beyond the surface

Colors and sleeves matter to Moze, but they do not explain the full concept. On the Breeze Two, the purge configuration changes where the smoke exits. The Varity pushes modularity further. Its two-piece stem and downstem support different heights and a different response depending on the configuration. Depending on the version, the platform can also use a plug-in or threaded vase and one or four hose ports. Customisation therefore changes how the hookah is used, not only how it looks.

Every line has its own smoking character

The Breeze models are compact, responsive and designed around modern single-hose sessions. The larger Varity is more modular and can be configured as a Lounge or Squad version for solo use or groups. The Tradi deliberately provides a firmer, immediate draw without a diffuser and with pronounced bubbling. Sphere 2 and Noir communicate more strongly through visual design. Moze is not simply selling the same stainless steel hookah at different heights. The lines are separated by feel, use case and appearance.

Modern design and tradition can coexist

The Tradi line shows that Moze is not limited to futuristic purge concepts. High-polished V2A stainless steel, a narrow air path and the absence of a diffuser bring the direct feedback of traditional pipes into a precisely machined plug-in system. At the other end sit Sphere 2 with its spikes and replaceable Orb, and the Noir developed with VYRO, combining carbon with an upward and downward purge pattern. This range of identities is central to the brand.

Who a Moze hookah is really for

Moze suits users who treat the hookah as a visible part of the setup but still expect a meaningful technical difference between models. Breeze Two and Breeze Pro cover compact everyday sessions. Varity offers more freedom for changing height, connections and configuration. Tradi targets smokers who enjoy resistance and traditional bubbling, while Sphere 2 and Noir appeal through their independent design language.

The purge is part of the construction

On a Moze hookah, purging is rarely just a valve in the base. The Breeze Two supports several purge arrangements by repositioning individual components. Breeze Pro turns the idea into a more convenient system with three smoke exits that can be changed during the session. Its Push to Purge function also provides a quick way to react when the bowl receives too much heat. The smoke path becomes a visible and functional part of the model.

Breeze Two and Breeze Pro are not simple generations

Breeze Pro is not merely a Breeze Three that replaces the successful original. Both remain distinct concepts in the compact class. Breeze Two uses its familiar POM base, manual reconfiguration of the patented purge and a particularly broad choice of sleeves and colors. Breeze Pro shifts the focus toward more stainless steel, purge patterns that change quickly and additional controls. Choosing the classic Moze look therefore does not automatically mean choosing the Pro model.

Which Moze model fits which setup?

Breeze Two and Breeze Pro are the obvious options for small tables, regular solo sessions and easier transport. Varity makes more sense when a larger hookah is preferred or several people want their own hoses. Tradi M and L target smokers who deliberately want more resistance and stronger feedback from the water. Sphere 2 and Noir are especially interesting to collectors and design fans because they belong to older model families that are now harder to find.

Modularity requires an exact compatibility check

Sleeves, stems, bases and purge parts may look similar across the range, but they are not automatically interchangeable between models or generations. The exact designation matters particularly with Breeze, Breeze Two, Breeze Pro, Sphere 2 and the discontinued Noir. Resin and carbon components also need different care from stainless steel. The mirror-polished Tradi benefits from soft cleaning materials because scratches show more readily on its surface.
