The German hookah brand behind 2PAC, Hanzo and Black Mamba
The Hookah models from 2PAC to Black Mamba and Hanzo
The Hookah is a brand name, not a generic category
THE HOOKAH is a German hookah brand from Eschenburg and has been active as a registered brand since 2017. This category refers to that exact model brand, not the generic English word hookah and not The Hookah Cartel. Its products are presented as Designed in Germany and range from compact single-hose models to large hookahs with four ports.
Every model receives its own character
2PAC, Hanzo, Black Mamba, Medusa, Excalibur and Old School do not follow a sober numbering system. Many names play with music, film, mythology and pop culture. Each one is paired with a fitting construction, such as a purge at a double charcoal tray, a dark gunmetal finish, an integrated glass molasses catcher or a traditional brass silhouette. The catalogue therefore does not feel like one stem repeated in several colors.
V2A stainless steel is central, but not the only direction
Many The Hookah models combine a V2A stainless steel heart and stem with hand-cut crystal glass vases. Depending on the hookah, epoxy resin, borosilicate glass, carbon, wood, aluminium or brass can be added. 2PAC mixes steel and resin, Medusa places glass visibly inside the stem, and Old School makes polished brass the main feature. Materials and care therefore depend on the exact model.
Click systems, 18/8 joints and adjustable parts
Closed chambers, click connections, 18/8 joints, divided downstems and removable diffusers appear across many models. Not every The Hookah uses the same engineering, however. 2PAC directs purge smoke around its two-piece tray, Hanzo changes between Big and Shorty builds, and Venom combines a plug-in vase with a hidden purge. Comparing the actual model is more useful than relying on one general brand specification.
Many The Hookah models are supplied as extensive sets
The brand often sells more than a bare stem. Depending on the model, the set can include the vase, hose, mouthpiece, tobacco bowl, chimney or HMD and other components matched to the design. The exact package still varies. A hookah with four ports does not automatically include four complete hose sets, so the individual product page should always be checked before buying.
Popular The Hookah models
These hookahs show the main directions of the brand particularly well.
- 🎤 2PAC - a compact single-hose hookah with V2A stainless steel, epoxy resin and a two-piece tray offering two purge positions.
- ⚔️ Hanzo - a modular four-port V2A hookah with a closed-chamber click system and a choice of Big or Shorty construction.
- 🐍 Black Mamba - a large four-port hookah in dark gunmetal with gold or rose-gold details.
- 🪼 Medusa Full Handcut - a V2A model with an integrated real-glass molasses catcher and a hand-cut crystal vase.
- 👑 4 Four Excalibur - a four-hose platform with V2A construction, an adjustable downstem and a distinctive hand-cut vase.
- 🏺 Old School - a traditional single-hose hookah made from polished brass with gold-finished V2A functional parts.
One hose, four ports or traditional character
2PAC and Old School both focus on one hose position while following completely different ideas. 2PAC is compact, modern and built around its purge, whereas Old School is traditional and brass led. Hanzo, Black Mamba and 4 Four Excalibur make more sense when several ports matter. Medusa appeals to users who want visible glass, cutting work and a molasses catcher integrated into the silhouette.
Not every part fits every model
The range includes click vases, plug-in vases, different click rings, 18/8 joints and model-specific stems. A vase that looks similar is therefore not automatically compatible. Molasses catchers, mouthpieces and purge parts can also belong to one particular series. For replacement parts, the model name, connection and dimensions matter more than the color or approximate age.
The model history goes much further back
The Hookah's archive includes earlier or intermittently unavailable hookahs such as Monster Joe 2.0, Skywalker, Sex Machine, Djangoo, Aventadorr, Butch and Terminator. They show how long the brand has worked with hand-cut glass, movie-inspired names, modular downstems and dedicated purge systems. Owners of an older model will usually find information and spare parts faster by searching the exact product name.
